The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce will hold a joint meeting of the Military Affairs Council and the Economic Development Council on October 19 at 3:30 p.m. to discuss the efforts of the Heritage and Learning Center Foundation that is developing a unique interactive museum and an experience-based learning center to celebrate the rich history and exciting future of flight. Council Chairs Rick Crider, Executive Vice President, Airport/Railport & Military Relations, Port San Antonio, and Charlie Weil, VP, Transwestern, will welcome Jack Hebdon (Chairman) and Doug King (Executive Director) to talk about the mission and vision of the Foundation. They will focus on the people in military and commercial aviation who have brought us to the point where the sky is no limit and inspire and engage young people with the educational opportunities that will prepare them for that future.
The Joint Council meeting will be held at the Port San Antonio main conference room (907 Billy Mitchell Road) on Wednesday, October 19th at 3:30. We hope to see you there.
